MMC.001: The William B. Harris Papers
This collection consists of 96 scripts, 4,450 folders of clippings, and a collection of photographs gathered by Mr. Harris during the decades of the 1960s to the 1990s, to support his work as a critic of avant-garde theater and dance in downtown Manhattan. MMC.002: Marymount Manhattan College Records. The College’s own papers are inventoried and arranged as they are deposited; this collection currently consists of 246 boxes of papers, publications, photographs, audio- and videotape, objects, and ephemera, mostly from the decades of the 1940s to the 1980s. MMC.004: The George and Ethel Martin Papers. George and Ethel Martin began as dancers on Broadway and in movie musicals and moved on to choreography, directing and stage management. Their collection of sixteen boxes includes scores and sheet music for musicals from the 1940s to the 1990s, videotape, and theatre ephemera, such as souvenir jackets given to the cast and crew of Broadway. MMC.005: The Plays and Players Collection
Published between 1953 and 2000, Plays and Players was London’s premier theatre news magazine. The archives has a partial run, with an index to reviews, interviews and articles on topics in theatre studies. Link to Plays and Players finding guide.
MMC.006: The Richard Niles/ Charles Busch Papers. MMC Professor Richard Niles donated fourteen boxes of material collected for his dissertation on playwright and drag artist Charles Busch. The collection contains advertisements for Charles Busch’s plays and personal appearances, newspaper clippings, photographs, programs, reviews, and scripts. It is noteworthy for its transcripts of interviews with Mr. Busch and his associates about their creative process. View the Guide to the Niles/ Busch Papers.
MMC.007: The Maureen Anderman Papers. Actress Maureen Anderman appeared in motion pictures, on television, and on stage—Broadway, off-Broadway, and regional theatre—from the 1970s to the 2010s. This fourteen-document-box collection documents her acting career via correspondence, notes for performances, photographs, posters, programs, and scripts. MMC.008: Ray Recht Papers. MMC Professor Ray Recht deposited ten document boxes from his work as a set designer on Broadway, off Broadway, in regional and community theatre, in TV programs and commercials, and in film. His materials date from the 1970s through the 2010s, and include scripts, programs, and the sketches, photographs, and papers needed to design sets and to make them work during a performance in pre-computer era. MMC.009: J. William Papers. Friends of the late MMC Professor J. William Bordeau deposited five boxes of correspondence, photographs, programs, promotional items and videotape from his work teaching acting and directing to college students. View the finding aid to the J. William Bordeau Papers.

The archives are available to scholars and students interested in topics on which its materials might shed light, and the archivist can do searches for specific information or for photographs and other media.
