Parking Near the College

There are a number of parking garages near the College:

Garden Parking is located on the left side of the street on East 71st Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues and is the closest to the entrance of the College. However, it is quite small and fills up quickly! Two nearby garages are larger and also offer discounts to MMC students, faculty/staff, and guests:

GGMC Parking Garage, located on 74th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue, offers discounted parking at a rate of $15 for up to 12 hours. Please note: Discount is only valid with Marymount Manhattan College parking validation stamp, which you can get at the security desk at the entrance to the College.

City Parking on East 71st Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues also offers 12 hours of parking for $15. Be sure to have your claim ticket stamped by the security guard at the entrance to the College. 

Please note that the Quick Park on 71st Street between 1st and York Avenues does not offer an MMC discount. You must be at the location between 1st and 2nd Avenues to receive the promotional price.

From Long Island

By car: Take Northern State Parkway (Grand Central Parkway) to Robert F. Kennedy (Triboro) Bridge. Exit from bridge to FDR Drive South. Exit FDR Drive at E. 71st Street.

By train: Take LIRR to Penn Station. Transfer to the subway for the Q Uptown train (to 72nd Street).

From Upstate New York

By car: Take the New York State Thruway (Route 87) South to Robert F. Kennedy (Triboro) Bridge. Exit from bridge to FDR Drive South. Exit FDR Drive at E. 71st Street.

Alternate Route: Take Route 684 South to Hutchinson River Parkway to Route 278 West. Follow signs to Robert F. Kennedy (Triboro) Bridge. Exit from bridge to FDR Drive South. Exit FDR Drive at E. 71st Street.

By Train: Take Metro North to Grand Central Terminal, or take Amtrak to Penn Station. Transfer to the subway for the 6 Uptown train (to 68th Street/Lexington Avenue). 

From New England

By car: Take Rt. 95 South to Rt. 278 West to Robert F. Kennedy (Triboro) Bridge. Exit from bridge to FDR Drive South. Exit FDR Drive at E. 71st Street.

From Points West and South of NYC

By car: Take the George Washington Bridge to Harlem River Drive South, which becomes FDR Drive. Exit FDR Drive at E. 71st Street.
