Walk4Hearing

Students in this NYC Seminar joined faculty, students, and families of the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department and members of the New York City Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America to walk in Riverside Park on Manhattan’s Upper West Side to raise awareness of hearing loss. The event also raised money to support the free hearing screenings provided by Marymount Manhattan’s Smadbeck Speech and Hearing Center every semester for the MMC community.  Students had the opportunity to meet and converse with many individuals and families affected by hearing loss in the beautiful and contemplative setting of Riverside Park.
