MMC Honors
Our students are artists, writers, future doctors and lawyers, dancers, activists, gamers, and leaders. What do they all have in common? Ambition, drive, and intelligence.
At MMC, we have multiple honors programs and organizations to suit the many ways our students achieve. From honor societies to Honors Day, we offer several ways to challenge and recognize our most exceptional students.
College Honors Program (CHP)
The CHP curriculum includes more advanced General Education courses, as well as smaller classes and more academically and creatively demanding coursework.
Honors Day
The Academic Honors Committee and the Alpha Chi Honor Society host an annual celebration, recognizing the achievements of our talented faculty and students.
Scholarships
Many of our students receive merit- or need-based scholarships. We offer endowed funds, service awards, scholarships for transfers, and grants for future entrepreneurs, among many others. Look into external opportunities as well! You have options.
Boren & Fulbright Scholarships
Marymount Manhattan College students with a GPA of 3.3 or higher are invited to apply for Boren and Fulbright awards. These grants fund up to one year of study abroad in foreign countries. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
Dean’s List
Every semester, the Dean commends students who attained a 3.5 GPA or higher during the previous term.
Honor Societies
MMC hosts chapters for a number of national honor and professional societies, all of which award students for their hard work and provide service and networking opportunities.
