Career Support

What can you do with an MMC degree? Anything. We’ll help you sharpen your focus and your resume, and prepare you for the road ahead.

The Office of Career Services is an invaluable resource. Whether you want help crafting the perfect cover letter, networking and interview advice, or a foot in the door at your dream company, we give you the support you need.

Start with an Internship

Most MMC students take on an internship during their college career. Many even receive academic credit. Our Intern Coordinator can help you find the right fit for you, based on your studies and goals.

Make the Connections

An internship will help you apply and strengthen the skills gained in the classroom, like clear, concise speaking and writing, research and analysis, and collaborative work.

It will also help you learn the value of building and maintaining relationships. The people you meet during your internships might be the people who hire you after college. We’ll help you learn the fine art of professional networking, and give you the confidence to put yourself out there.

Work Your Way Up

With our support and guidance, many students have turned internships into full-time positions upon graduation. A summer job running errands at CBS may lead to a permanent role on the production team. Volunteering abroad at a Kenyan health clinic may help you land a 2-year fellowship at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Your career begins before graduation. Let us get you on the path.
