MMC to Host First Ever Virtual Honors Day Colloquium

Each spring, the MMC community comes together to celebrate extraordinary work from across departments and disciplines in one of the College’s most cherished events: Honors Day. In a year that has challenged us as students, educators, and human beings, this year’s virtual event is an opportunity to celebrate accomplishments within our community and connect passions across distances. Submissions are now open!

This year, Honors Day will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Projects accepted for inclusion in the Honors Day Colloquium will be presented to MMC students, faculty, staff, and guests via virtual platforms. Prizes will be awarded to those exhibiting outstanding work.

Self-submissions will begin on Monday, February 22, 2021. Our final submission date will be Monday, March 15, 2021. Simply fill out the Honors Day submission form and upload your document(s) when prompted. All uploads will go directly into a private Honors Day submissions Box folder.

Please note that each student may only submit one project, except when they are submitting a second project as part of a group. Finally, please remember to reach out to your professors, as they will need to fill out a sponsor form (sent separately) in support of your submission. Applications that are not supported by faculty sponsors will be deemed incomplete and left out of consideration.
