MMC Prof. Tatiana Serafin Hosts International News Podcast

The Doorstep, hosted by MMC’s Assistant Professor of Communication and Media Arts, Tatiana Serafin, alongside Carnegie Council Senior Fellow Nikolas Gvosdev, is an international news podcast that invites listeners to challenge currents ways of thinking and to embrace a global perspective.

With a new episode every two weeks, Serafin and Gvosdev will discuss new topics in international affairs to educate young voters whose actions and choices will shape the socioeconomic landscape of the United States.

The first podcast, published on September 25, 2020, features topics such as:

  • The leaked FinCEN files
  • The second wave of COVID-19 hitting Europe
  • What to expect from the first 2020 U.S. Presidential debate
  • The China-U.S. relationship and its effects on U.S. consumers

While living amidst a global pandemic, racial injustice, and a presidential election, the MMC community is strongly encouraged to remain informed in international affairs, and can do so by following The Doorstep. MMC students, faculty, and staff are also invited to send questions to the podcast via Twitter to @TatianaSerafin or @CarnegieCouncil, or by email at info@cceia.org.

Congratulations Prof. Serafin!
