Our Intern Program
As a Communication and Media Arts student, in addition to receiving a great education from our wonderful faculty, you can take advantage of our wonderful internship program, where you will gain exposure to industries within one of the largest and greatest cities in the world. In addition to working closely with an on-site, organizational supervisor, the student will also have a MMC faculty adviser, who will create a structured syllabus to provide an academic component that will complement the internship experience. Over the past five years, our department has placed 412 Communication and Media Arts students into internships in the New York City area, performing work in the following areas: pre-production, sound design, production, post-production, advertising, media analysis, corporate communication, human resources, marketing, media relations, journalism, public relations, web design, video production, publicity management, fundraising, health campaigns, and media sales.
