Digital Journalism Student Publishes Bloomberg Article on Future Health Crises

Woodhouse ’21, a double major in Digital Journalism and Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media, is completing a virtual internship with Bloomberg News, working on the company’s U.S government team with specific focus on congressional news.

The rising senior’s article details the US Senate’s Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee hearing on June 23, 2020. Click here to read the article.

“Bloomberg has really put a lot of time investing into their virtual internship program,” says Woodhouse. “They are making sure that us interns are prepared and able to walk away and say ‘I was able to learn and grow despite not being able to be in the office and experience a traditional internship.’ Everyone is super helpful and accessible, so even though I am not in the office I still feel like I am there and a part of the team.”

Fantastic work, Skylar!
