Digital Journalism Student Jack Irvin ’20 Lands “Ladygunn” Cover Story

Graduating double-major in Digital Journalism and Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media, Jack Irvin ’20, has published his first cover story in the latest edition of Ladygunn magazine (Iss. 19).

The piece, an interview with rapper/singer Doja Cat, marks the first time Irvin’s work will appear in print which, according to Irvin, is a “dream come true.”

His article is also the first opportunity Irvin has had to write a cover story. “Writing this story with Doja Cat for Ladygunn was such a great and fulfilling experience. She was a fantastic interview subject; I’m so grateful to get write about her during such an exciting time in her career. I’ve been working on this piece for the past six months, and it feels incredible to have it out in the world.”

Irvin previously interned for Rolling Stone magazine, and is currently working with Entertainment Tonight! He also does freelance work and has bylines with Rolling Stone and PopCrush. Irvin also has a second article coming out in Issue 19 of Ladygunn, so stay tuned. Congrats, Jack!
