The film, which follows the lives of two transgender siblings as they navigate puberty, school, dating, and family in the Trump era, was acquired by the PBS series America Reframed and will be broadcast in June.
In addition to its national debut on PBS, Little Miss Westie will be distributed to libraries and schools through Passion River Films and continues to screen at film festivals around the world. This is Hunt’s eighth feature length documentary to be broadcast nationally and abroad.
Congratulations to Professor Hunt and co-director, Joy E. Reed!
