EWL Mid-Semester Soiree a Great Success!

On October 27th, EWL faculty and majors gathered at Dr. Naccarato’s apartment for the EWL Mid-Semester Soiree.  It was an evening of good food and great conversation!

On October 27th, EWL faculty and majors gathered for the EWL Mid-Semester Soiree. Faculty provided the food – the menu included pasta with roasted vegetables, turkey chili, homemade quiches, delicious empanadas, and mixed green salad, with cookies, fruit, and a homemade sugar plum cake (thanks, Jen Brown) for dessert!

Hosted by Peter Naccarato, the event provided a great mid-semester respite as students talked about the great work they are doing this semester and their excitement about next semester’s courses.  One group of students could hardly contain their excitement about the History of the English Language class that Jen Brown is offering next semester!

EWL faculty welcomed this opportunity to spend time with our majors outside of the classroom.  We look forward to making this a regular event!!  EWL majors, mark your calendars for the first advisement day of the spring semester!
