“I have connected with many wonderful dancers and somatic practitioners through my work with Moving For Life. Furthermore, I gained a greater appreciation for and connection to
the Lower East Side community through my community outreach work. I felt well supported
and appreciated by my supervisors, whom I feel that I can reach out to for guidance in my future endeavors, especially as I look toward a career in somatic psychology. “

- Kelly Tarbell, BA ’18

“Overall, I am so grateful and fulfilled as my internship with Parsons Dance concludes
for the fall season. This experience has truly opened my eyes about the reality of
how a modern dance company or non-profit organization is operated and has
taught me important office and communication skills that i wish to further
develop as I continue creating my own footprint here in the city.”

- Hannah Grzymala, BFA ’20
