Study Abroad
Athens, Sydney, London, Shanghai, Paris…the world is waiting. Where will you go?
Study Abroad
Read The Merchant of Venice in Venice. Dance through the halls of the University of Roehampton in London. Hold a koala bear in Australia.
For many students, Study Abroad is a pivotal part of their MMC experience. It’s not just about travel, it’s about discovery.
You’ll see world events up close and confront perspectives different from your own. You’ll learn a new language and traditions and immerse yourself in vibrant cultures. You may also re-evaluate your own longstanding ideas and beliefs, and emerge from your semester, year, summer, or month abroad wiser and more self-aware.
At MMC, we offer several Study Abroad options for academic credit:
Consortia MMC Affiliations: As a member of the Academic Consortium of the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) and the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), our students can participate in study abroad programs in 49 countries.
Independent Study Abroad: MMC students can also take advantage of other institutions’ study abroad programs to attend the Sorbonne in Paris, the University of Westminster in London, University of Sydney, Australia, or a Semester-at-Sea.
Travel/Study Courses: In January, spring break, and summer terms, MMC professors lead short-term courses in a different country, such as England, Greece, or Italy.
MMC Affiliations- Institutions: MMC has an exchange program with the American College of Thessaloniki in Greece; in Italy we offer programs with the Umbra Institute in Perugia and the International Studies Institute in Florence.
