About

Holly Hepp-Galván has an MFA in Playwriting from Hunter College where she studied under Tina Howe.  Recent productions include Sprites, a joint commission from Ballet Austin and Pollyanna Theatre Company, Departure, a National Short Play Award Finalist, and Tamed, an adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew.

Recent awards include The Rita and Burton Goldberg Award, and the Irv Zarkower Prize for Playwriting.  In addition, she was the 2012 Playwright-in-Residence for Voices Inside/Out, a writing program for male inmates.

Holly is also a performer and a teaching theatre artist.  Since 2001 she has taught Communication and Theatre Arts courses at Fordham University, Manhattan College, College of Mount Saint Vincent, and Hunter College.
