Betsy Stepina Zinn ’02

An editor and art historian, Betsy started her career in art publishing and continues to edit for various museums and institutions as she works towards her Ph.D. in Art History at Rice University.

Betsy has pursued graduate work in art history, specializing in modern and contemporary art (especially conceptual art). After she graduated from MMC, Betsy worked as an editor in the Department of Publications at the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2013 she earned her MA in Art History at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since then, Betsy has worked as a freelance editor for various museums/art publishers and is the current editor of the Jasper Johns Catalogue Raisonné of Painting and Sculpture, a five-volume publication to be released in 2016. Betsy resides in Texas and is a PhD student in Art History at Rice University.
