Modern Dance Professor, Belinda McGuire, performs at Fall for Dance Toronto

Belinda McGuire, new to the Marymount Manhattan Dance Faculty this year, teaches Jose Limon’s technique to our Modern ll students here at Marymount. Earlier this month she performed in Fall for Dance Toronto. She danced in a piece created by Anne Plamondon, a Canadian choreographer, who set the entire work on two women. With one of the original dancers unable to perform, Belinda McGuire was gifted the opportunity. The piece was entitled Counter Cantor, and seemed to be the piece to remember in many reviews written about the performance. The dynamic movement showcased both women individually as well as a cohesion and produced a product many seemed intrigued by. To read more on this performance click on the article link below! Congratulations Belinda!
