Virtual Commencement Ceremonies

11:00 am: Majors within Art and Art History, Business, Communication Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Sciences

2:00 pm: Dance and Theatre Arts majors

Graduates will receive an e-vite to their respective ceremony; those with double majors in Theatre arts and another division will be invited to both ceremonies. Graduates must RSVP for their ceremony to get the zoom link which can then be shared with family and friends.

 

SUNDAY, MAY 23, 2021

Class of 2021 Celebrations (In-Person!)

We invite the Class of 2021 to attend a celebration at MMC on Main Campus on Sunday, May 23, 2021, health and safety permitting. To maintain social distancing, we can accommodate graduates only (not family and friends), and gatherings will take place at different times, as determined by field of study.

11:00 am-12:30 pm: Business, Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences

2:00-3:30 pm: Communication and Media Arts, Art and Art History, and Dance

5:00-6:30 pm: Theatre Arts

Graduates will receive a separate e-vite and are asked to RSVP so we are able to track attendance and plan appropriately for this in-person celebration.

Please keep in mind that while recent news of declining cases and increased vaccinations have brought hope that the end of the pandemic is near, we are still living in uncertain times. Our plans for in-person celebrations are contingent on guidance allowing larger gatherings and your commitment to honoring the health and safety protocols in place on May 23. We will continue to monitor State and local guidelines and advisories leading up to Commencement weekend, and will share any updates with you as soon as possible.
