Find Course Reserves
How can I find a course reserve book?
The first step is to search the Course Reserves Page and check the following:
- Instructor’s/Professor’s last name
- Course number or name of the course
- Title of the book (Please check your syllabus for the correct edition of any textbook)
Are all essential in finding course books and materials. Please note that some instructors may place DVDs on reserve and they are kept in the Media Center.
Tips about reserve books:
Reserve books are only used within the library and for two hours only. Not every book is placed on reserve. An instructor must place a book on reserve. In addition, you can search for a reserve book by visiting Course Reserves. If you have any questions you can submit a question to Askalibrarian. Unlike other library items, course reserve books must be returned after 2 hour period and may be renewed only in person, with the actual item in hand, not by or online or phone.
