Free Counseling

The Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) supports students’ psychological and personal wellness. CWC offers free short-term individual counseling, medication consultation and management, wellness programs, and referrals for treatment in the community.

The staff is made up of clinical psychologists, clinical social workers, a nurse practitioner, and advanced doctoral psychology trainees.

CWC is committed to working with all students from our diverse and inclusive community. All students will be treated with respect and understanding.

In addition to counseling sessions, CWC provides:

  • Psychiatric evaluations for medication.
  • Drop-in Hours Monday-Friday from 2 pm-4 pm. Drop-in hours will also be provided through telemental health—please contact CWC in the morning if you would like to schedule a same-day drop-in appointment).
  • Referrals for therapists and other psychiatric resources in the community.
  • Educational programs, events, and workshops (including mindfulness groups, and Fall and Spring Stress Down Days).
