Everyone speaks differently. Commonly, these differences come from the speaker’s
place of origin. These origin specific ways of talking are dialects. With each dialect comes
connotation, and with that, an assumption. What do these assumptions tell us? Is it fair to make
these generalizations? Are we active in making these assumptions, or are they subconsciously
