Dr. Oksman to Moderate Downtown Cartoon Panel
Director of the Academic Writing program at MMC, Tahneer Oksman, will moderate a unique panel on comics at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in lower Manhattan.
On Wednesday April 23, 2014, the Museum of Jewish Heritage will host a panel discussing comics and Jewish life, moderated by our very own Tahneer Oksman. The panel will consist of artists Liana Fink, Miriam Katin, and Eli Valley and will discuss how their surroundings, family, history, and backgrounds have inspired their representations of Jewish life in pen and ink.
