Alumna Laura Ann Peterson ’18 Appears in ‘Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry’

Laura Ann Peterson ’18, an MMC alumna who majored in Theatre Performance and minored in Musical Theatre and Arts Administration, stars in Water Music, one of six plays chosen for performance in Sundog Theatre’s 18th annual one-act play contest, Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry

Water Music is written by Arianna Rose and directed by Ken Tirado. Peterson stars as a woman facing family tragedy whose chance encounter with another troubled soul in an iconic New York setting leads them both to unburden themselves and support each other.

Acting and Musical Theatre Alum Nick LaMedica ’10 Makes TV Debut on ‘Chicago Fire’

Nick LaMedica ’10, who graduated from MMC’s Acting and Musical Theatre programs, was recently cast to play a paramedic on NBC’s Chicago Fire. The episode aired on Wednesday, March 18, and marked LaMedica’s first performance for national television.
