A New Year, A New Look
Six months ago, in partnership with the Columbus-based branding firm Ologie, a team of MMC faculty, staff, and administrators embarked upon a process of discovery, strategy, and design.
The goal was an evolution of the Marymount Manhattan brand, including new messaging and enhanced visuals that would enable us to better tell the MMC story to prospective and current students, faculty, staff, parents, donors, and members of the wider NYC and higher-education communities.
Also crucial was an effort to capture the unique character of a Marymount Manhattan education: a strong liberal arts foundation on top of which each student can craft a highly personalized education, taking advantage of all that New York City has to offer.
From conversations with students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, trustees, and more, as well as research into the College’s rich history and existing communications, Ologie worked to capture the essential personality of MMC—vibrant, engaged, curious, and a little offbeat.
You’ll notice elements of this brand refresh, which include a refined logo and brighter color scheme, making their way across this College website and other publications.
