Vaccination Information

Marymount Manhattan College’s Health and Safety team is uplifted by the expeditious rollouts of the successful COVID-19 vaccines and strongly encourages the entire MMC community receive the vaccine as soon as possible.

New York State Guidelines

As of Tuesday, April 6, the COVID-19 vaccine is now available to all New York residents 16 and older. People who live outside of the state but work or study in New York are also eligible to get vaccinated. People who are eligible based on employment include both paid and unpaid workers. Please note: Pfizer is the only vaccine approved for those ages 16-17.

Students will be required to bring proof of age and current New York residency to their vaccine appointment(s), and you can review acceptable forms of proof of eligibility under the “Vaccination Instructions” section on the New York State website. Students living outside of New York should visit their state or country’s government website for information about vaccine eligibility in their area.

Information about the COVID-19 vaccine distribution and its availability is rapidly changing. The Health and Safety team will provide more information in the coming weeks regarding the College’s Fall 2021 guidelines and potential Main Campus vaccination sites.
