The Department of Natural Sciences at Marymount Manhattan College is seeking part-time faculty to teach general physics courses with laboratory for Biology majors. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed as openings become available. Adjunct teaching applicants are expected to have strong communication skills and 1-3 years of work experience in the discipline in which they expect to teach. Experience teaching at the post-secondary education level is required. Applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

Marymount Manhattan College, a private, independent, liberal arts college located in the heart of New York City, is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in Art History for the following course in the Fall 2021 Semester:
ART 270: Survey of Asian Art is an introduction to the distinctive, interrelated artistic and aesthetic traditions of China, Japan, and Korea. Masterpieces of pottery, sculpture, architecture, gardens, calligraphy, and painting are examined in relation to the natural environments, histories, religions, social contexts, literatures, and philosophies of Asia. Students approach works of art thematically, paying attention to their materiality and form, as well as the functions they served in society. Connections between ancient art and modern art form an important part of this course. Art will also be studied in person through field trips to galleries and museums of NYC. Prerequisite: WRIT 101 OR WRIT 201.

Marymount Manhattan College (MMC) is currently searching for part-time faculty members to teach Quantitative Reasoning (MATH 113) and Intermediate Algebra (MATH 129) courses for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. Classes meet twice a week virtually via Zoom at various times, generally either MW or TuTh. Prior teaching experience of these classes with Blackboard LMS and Zoom technologies is required.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of a master’s degree or higher in Mathematics or related discipline from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications: Online teaching experience and proficiency in online learning technologies.
