Mike Greko

About

Greko is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ based in New York City. He began his professional career in 2010 as a session and touring musician after studying at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Through the years Greko has shared stages with legendary acts around the US such as Cheap Trick, Ace Frehley (KISS), Cherrie Currie (The Runaways), Sharon Needles, Miss Guy (The Toilet Boys), Randy Jones (The Village People), and Tavares. In 2016 he recorded and released his debut EP of original music entitled No Rules About It featuring special guests - one of which is NYC crooner and Lady Gaga band leader Brian Newman.

During the 2019 World Pride celebrations, Greko was at the helm of the music charity project #LIFTEMUP as a main songwriter, performer and producer. He joined forces with iconic artists and LGBTQ trailblazers Sharon Needles, Debbie Harry, Peppermint & Amanda Lepore. In 2020, The group released a follow up EP with guest house producer David Ohana Aviance entitled LIFT THEM UP 2020 - The Aviance Mixes. Streaming proceeds are donated to LGBTQIA+ charities around the world. As a DJ, Greko has traveled internationally personally entertaining celebrities such as Boy George, Halsey, 5SOS, Petula Clark and many others.
