Kristine Bendul began her career as a classically trained ballerina who ended up in NYC with thirteen Broadway production credits. In Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, she was the assistant choreographer and partnering consultant. Kristine has always kept one foot in the world of partner dancing. In December 2019, Kristine and her dance partner, Abdiel Jacobsen, made history becoming AMERICA’s FIRST… professional male-female ballroom duo to compete in DanceSport as a GENDER NEUTRAL couple both equally exchanging roles of lead and follow within all 5 American Rhythm dances. Kristine is also the writer of The Color Iz which was a one night benefit at the iconic Stonewall Inn last summer receiving a rave review on broadwayworld.com. She is currently the Associate Choreographer on the new musical The Remarkable Journey To Tianguo. Kristine is the author and illustrator of the children’s book Noodles Needs A Nap. www.kristinebendul.com
