Emily Clark

About

Emily Clark is currently Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at Marymount Manhattan College. She teaches courses in Musical Theatre History, Musical Theatre Techniques, Scene Into Song, Advanced Theatre Studies, and the Daily Dance Program. She recently directed and choreographed an all-female production of Rodgers and Hart’s The Boys From Syracuse and served as director and choreographer for a new production of Frank Wildhorn’s Wonderland. She has performed and choreographed at institutions across the country, working with fantastic theatrical mentors, including Bill Russell, Patricia Birch, Larry Fuller, and Georgji Paro. She also serves as the advisor for the Musical Theatre Association at MMC, which sponsors training and production in musical theatre throughout the year. Clark received a Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance from the City University of New York Graduate Center. She received a BA from Marymount Manhattan College, an M.Ed. from the University of LaVerne, and an M. Phil from CUNY Graduate Center.
