Marymount Manhattan Forms Partnership with Touro College of Pharmacy

The Department of Natural Sciences has established a linkage agreement to offer qualified undergraduate students a direct pathway to earn a Pharm.D. at the Touro College of Pharmacy.

Marymount Manhattan College has formed an exciting linkage agreement with the Touro College of Pharmacy. Our Biology and Biomedical Sciences students will be eligible to enter a 3:4 program in which they complete three years of their undergraduate degree at Marymount Manhattan and then begin the four-year Doctor of Pharmacy program at Touro. Pharmacists are in particularly high demand due to the current health crisis, and this accelerated pathway to complete pharmacy school will enable our students to fast-track their careers.

This Pharmacy partnership with Touro comes in addition to our newly formed linkage with their College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Safety Precautions and Synchronous Learning: MMC Laboratories in the Time of COVID

As MMC worked to reopen its Main Campus for the Fall 2020 semester, the Department of Natural Sciences developed a plan to continue performing in-person laboratory courses while also accommodating remote learners. MMC’s science labs underwent extensive safety reinforcement to allow in-person students to participate in labs with their remote partners learning from home.
