Natural Sciences Establishes Linkage with Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine

The Department of Natural Sciences has formed a linkage agreement with the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The Natural Sciences department at Marymount Manhattan has formed an exciting linkage agreement with the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Central Harlem. BS Biology and BS Biomedical Sciences students who are interested in pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathy at Touro College and meet all the requirements for the program will be given priority review of their applications and a guaranteed interview. This is a unique opportunity for Marymount Manhattan students looking for careers in medicine as licensed physicians. Doctors of Osteopathy practice in all areas of medicine and focus on helping patients achieve wellness through prevention of injury and disease.

Safety Precautions and Synchronous Learning: MMC Laboratories in the Time of COVID

As MMC worked to reopen its Main Campus for the Fall 2020 semester, the Department of Natural Sciences developed a plan to continue performing in-person laboratory courses while also accommodating remote learners. MMC’s science labs underwent extensive safety reinforcement to allow in-person students to participate in labs with their remote partners learning from home.
