MMC Alumna Discusses Veteran Issues on MetroFocus

Alumna Adrienne Brammer ’16, Outreach Director of the NYC Veterans Alliance, was interviewed on the PBS Thirteen news show MetroFocus as part of its “Frontline to Home Front” series.

In the interview, Brammer stresses the importance of sharing information and resources for veterans so that they can more easily connect and find the resources they need. In her tenure at the NYC Veterans Alliance, Brammer has posted over 25,000 events for veterans in the area to attend.

After growing up in a military family, Brammer made the decision to join the military and chose a job that allowed her to pursue her creative passions—broadcasting. After serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, Brammer attended Marymount Manhattan College as a Theatre Arts major.

Thank you, Adrienne, for your service and for your commitment to helping other veterans!
