MMC Celebrates V-Day with “The Vagina Monologues”

Returning for a second year, Student Development and Activities and the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences are thrilled to invite the campus community to a production of Eve Ensler’s award-winning play, The Vagina Monologues, starting February 11th at 7:00pm.

“Spellbinding, funny, and almost unbearably moving. It is both a work of art and an incisive piece of cultural history, a poem and a polemic, a performance and a balm and a benediction.”

The shows will be held at 7 pm on Thursday and Friday and at 8:30 pm on Saturday in the Bordeau Box Theater. Tickets are $10.

As always, 100% of the proceeds will go to an NYC-based organization of the cast’s choosing. This year, the 29-person cast has chosen the L.O.V.E. Mentoring Program, an organization that works to enhance the well-being of young girls and Hispanic communities in NYC. For more information about the organization, please visit their website at http://www.lovementoring.org/.
