Scholarships and Grants
Over 70% of our student body relies on financial aid, which they receive through endowed scholarships or current use scholarships.
Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships, typically named for the donors who fund them, support generations of MMC students. They’re managed within the College’s overall endowment pool. Every year, we use a percentage of the fund’s income and interest to underwrite the annual scholarship.
With a gift of $25,000 or more, you can establish an endowed scholarship and fulfill it over a period of three to five years. We can begin awarding the scholarship the year after the corpus has equaled or surpassed the $25,000 minimum.
Current Use Scholarships
With a gift of $5,000 or more, you can establish a current use scholarship, also called a tuition grant. Such grants do not continue in perpetuity, but are rather awarded in a lump sum or distributed over several years, until the fund is exhausted.
