Summer Academic Institute

The Summer Academic Institute is a six-week academic and social orientation that assists incoming students with the transition to college-level studies. The curriculum emphasizes the strengthening of writing and math skills, and also includes cultural trips, guest speakers, volunteer activities, and workshops on library research. Students earn three credits at the completion of the program.
