Transfer Students
The goal of the Marymount Transfer Advisement team is to provide student-focused advisement in an environment that recognizes the individuality of each student.
One-on-one academic advisement is encouraged for all transfer students to help them understand how their previous credits fit into MMC’s curriculum and degree planning towards graduation. Together with academic departments and other administrative offices, we help facilitate a smooth transition to MMC for all new transfer students.
The Transfer Advisement team is responsible for overseeing the evaluation of all transfer credits from prior colleges, including college courses taken while still in high school. This includes serving as a liaison to all academic departments and assisting faculty with the process of evaluating transfer credits. Any current student with questions about the potential for awarding of transfer credits for coursework completed prior to enrolling at MMC is welcome to visit our office for assistance.
