Kelly Ann Peña is a pediatric speech language pathologist at NYU Langone Health: Rusk Rehabilitation in Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital working on the inpatient and outpatient units. Peña attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison on a research fellowship and received her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2015. Peña is also an alumna of Marymount Manhattan’s undergraduate speech pathology program. She holds her active TSSLD license and is certified as a brain injury specialist (CBIS). She has a passion for evidence-based practice and has presented clinical research at both the state and national level. Peña’s research interests include neurogenic communication disorders in children and adults, bilingual language development, and clinical and research education.
