Faculty News: English Professor’s Book Garners Positive Review

Dr. Feilla received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from New York University. Her teaching and research interests include 18th-century literature, drama and performance theory, genre studies, urban literature, and the literature of revolution. Her current research focuses on historical reenactments of the French Revolution performed in British theaters during the 1790s. She has been a scholar-in-residence at NYU and a research fellow at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. and the Collegium Philosophiae Transatlanticum of the Philipps Universität-Marburg, Germany.
