MMC January Musical Theatre Projects Feature Guest Artists

Coming up: Musical Theatre students at Marymount Manhattan College are thrilled to be performing VOW on January 31st and February 1st, featuring writers from The Directory of Contemporary Musical Theatre Writers.

VOW presents the work of the M2 (Made-to-Measure) Musical Workshop designed to introduce the Marymount Manhattan College community to writers and songs from The Directory of Contemporary Musical Theatre Writers. Award-winning writers Russ Kaplan, Sara Wordsworth, Will Reynolds and Clay Zambo worked directly with the cast, the director Laura Josepher, and the musical director David Sisco, to develop 10-15 minute musical
theatre “shorts” based on stories from the Wedding/Celebrations section of The New York
Times. VOW is performed January 31 at 8:00 and February 1 at 7:30 and 9:30 in the Theresa Lang Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College (221 East 71 Street, NYC). For tickets visit: http://mmc-vow.eventbrite.com.

Math Department Holds The Eleventh Annual Pi-Day Contest

Every year, the Mathematics department holds a College-wide π-Day contest. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit an original sentence, paragraph, poem, or short story that uses the digits of π in order (π ≈ 3.1415926..).
