The New Cooper Square Residence Hall

In January 2014, Marymount Manhattan College broke ground on its new residence hall, Cooper Square. Located in the East Village at 211 East 6th Street, Cooper Square is in the middle of one of New York City’s most vibrant neighborhoods, and a quick walk to iconic theater and performance spaces, amazing restaurants, and endless things to see and do.

Opening in August 2015, the 12-story residence hall will be home to more than 270 sophomore, junior, and senior residents. With amenities including a fitness center, student lounge, study room, bicycle storage room, and beautiful wrap-around terrace, Cooper Square will be the place to be for continuing students at Marymount Manhattan College.

Marymount Manhattan is working in partnership with developer Arun Bhatia of Arun Bhatia Developer Corporation. Previously, MMC collaborated with Arun Bhatia in 2001 to develop our 55th Street first-year residence hall.
