President Kerry Walk, Ph.D., was the recipient of a 2020 OTTY (“Our Town Thanks You”) Award presented by Our Town, the local paper for the Upper East Side.
For more than 20 years, the OTTY Awards have recognized the unique contributions of East Siders. Awardees are nominated by Our Town’s readers, and while they all come from different backgrounds and professions, they share a common goal: to make the Upper East Side a better place.

Math Department Holds The Eleventh Annual Pi-Day Contest
Every year, the Mathematics department holds a College-wide π-Day contest. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit an original sentence, paragraph, poem, or short story that uses the digits of π in order (π ≈ 3.1415926..).
