Madison Fortner ’20 Accepted into Prestigious UK Graduate Programs
“I decided to study in London because in order to best serve markets of all backgrounds, I realized that I must explore perspectives of marketing beyond the United States,” explains Fortner. “London is one of the most ethnically diverse populations in the world and with such prestigious schools, it seemed to be an obvious choice.”
Fortner, who received additional acceptances into King’s College and Queen Mary’s University, ultimately decided on Imperial College London. “Imperial is ranked the #2 master’s program in marketing in the world and I was incredibly excited (and quite shocked) to get in,” she says. “Ultimately, my goal is to be an agent of change in the fashion and beauty world. I am passionate about these areas because I believe people utilize them as a tool to not only create and express their identities, but also to bolster their confidence. My hope is to make marketing initiatives more diverse and inclusive in this field.”
Congratulations, Madison!
