MMC’s Plans for the Fall 2020 Semester

Dear MMC Community,

I know how eager all of you are to know what the College’s plans are for the Fall 2020 semester. MMC is currently planning for an in-person, on-time start, recognizing that these plans may change in response to the guidance and direction of government and public health officials. For this reason, MMC is also developing robust contingency plans, and we will keep our students, families, and the entire MMC community informed of any updates in the coming months.

As we plan for a “campus restart,” the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and guests are our top priority and guide. Fortunately, the College’s swift precautionary move to a virtual environment in mid-March has taught us much about ourselves and our capabilities. If we were ever in doubt, we now know one thing with certainty: we can swiftly adapt to changing circumstances. Adaptability is one of the keys to professional and life success, and I’ve been a proud witness to the innovative ways the members of our college community have found to “think, learn, and do” in a new environment.

MMC’s Fall 2020 Restart Plan is currently in the works. Details will be shared as the plan is solidified. In the meantime, please know how inspired I feel by your creativity, determination, and resilience.
