IS Student joins Panel at the United Nations

Lea Khy interned at the United Nations in the fall of 2019, working with the Medical Mission Sisters. In the video below, she reflects on her experience and how it broadened her understanding of the civic world. She also gives a special shoutout to IS Department chair, Prof Andreas Hernandez. 

 

This week Lea is joining a panel at the UN Commission for Social Development. The Panel will focus on Youth Homelessness.
