This is the Day Web Site Wins Silver 2009 CASE II Accolades Award

(New York, NY) Marymount Manhattan’s This is the Day Web site, designed for the $25 million fundraising campaign initiative, was awarded a Silver 2009 CASE II Accolades Award in the division of Web Site: Fundraising Development. MMC’s site was competing alongside colleges and universities in the CASE District II division, the largest of the eight CASE districts.

The campaign Web site is an on-line tool to engage the public with the College’s ongoing campaign initiative to transform the College by increasing student access through expanded financial aid resources, enhancing the learning environment by making strategic improvements to the College’s facilities, and advancing academic excellence through the creation of fixed-term academic chairs.

The CASE District II panel of judges applauded the Web site’s communicative effectiveness, creativity, organizational ability and overall excellence as exceeding standards. Home page elements, including flash, video, inspirational text, graphics, photographs and navigational bar, were attributed as very appealing components in engaging the College’s targeted audience. Overall, judges found the site to be a very “comfortable” environment with an intuitive navigation design.

Marymount Manhattan College, along with all CASE District II Accolades Award winners, will be recognized at the DII conference in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 23.

This is the Day campaign Web site was created by AD Lubow, LLC under the direction of Web Designer and Multi-media Director Nico Marcellino and Creative Director Arthur Lubow.
