The Psychology Club Receives Top Awards at 16th Annual Student Leadership Awards

Congratulations to MMC’s Psychology Club! 

Last week, at MMC’s 16th Annual Student Leadership Awards, the Psychology Club was awarded the Registered Student Organization of The Year Award, the Overall Program of the Year Award, and the Education Program of the Year Award. The Psychology Club received the Overall Program of the Year Award and the Education Program of the Year Award for the Absolutely Safe screening and talkback event. Additionally, Psychology Club Executive Board Members were awarded top leadership awards. Amanda Anzovino ’19 received the Dean’s Award, Monica Benitez ’19 received the Unsung Hero Award, Jordan Barnett ’20 received the President’s Spirit Award, and Patrick Riley ’20 received the Outstanding Junior Leader Award.

MMC’s Nava Silton, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology, has created a brand new card game, Bashert, for Zoom dates, first dates, married date nights, and more to help couples connect and develop meaningful relationships through deep, fun, and engaging questions.
