Counsellor El Hilali during her lecture on 2/5/19
Counsellor Meriem El Hilali of the Permanent Mission of Morocco to the United Nations joined Professor Kazi Rahman’s Diplomacy: Theory and Practice class to discuss the history of US-Moroccan relations.
Counsellor El Hilali began her discussion focusing on her previous work in both Morocco and France, weaving historical diplomatic events between the US and Morocco. Students also heard about El Hilali’s professional experience as a counsellor for the United Nations here in New York - a fantastic opportunity for our students interested in our professional immersion program. Many thanks to Ms. El Hilali.
