Alumna Named a Global Health Distinction Fellow
Alice Trye, who graduated with a B.S. in Biology in 2015, is currently a first-year medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She has been awarded a Global Health Distinction fellowship that will take her to Sierra Leone this summer for a project on surgical supply donations. Recently, Alice reached out to MMC Biology professor Dr. Ann Aguanno to say, “thank you for teaching me how to conduct research. Making posters and presenting really prepared me for med school and I didn’t have to go through a huge learning curve of learning how to make posters or being nervous about presenting my work.”
The Department of Natural Sciences congratulates Alice on this achievement!
