MMC Announces Spring 2010 Dean’s List
Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty David Podell, Ph.D., said the Dean’s List recognizes excellence in students’ academic performance.
“While all Marymount Manhattan students work hard to progress through the curriculum, Dean’s List students have achieved at a level of particular distinction,” he said. “We honor those students by announcing their names, which are displayed on the third floor of the Nugent Building, and at the October 23rd event held during Family and Friends Weekend. We’re proud of their achievement and the reception is a wonderful occasion to celebrate them with their faculty, family and friends.”
Dean’s List honors are awarded each semester to all full-time and part-time students who have successfully completed a minimum of 12 and 6 credits respectively at MMC during the previous semester, and who in that period have attained a GPA of at least 3.50.
