Florence Alva, Stars, 2016 Oil and acrylic, 42x42
Florence Alva’s Stars, 2016, a 42”x42” oil and acrylic painting, was selected to be in this year’s ArtPrize international competition and festival from September 20 – October 8, 2017 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Florence earned her BA in Art History in 1989 and has been painting imagery based on architecture and geometry. She currently lives and works in Durham, North Carolina.
